Collaboration is key to increasing awareness of the need to improve the safety of medications. IFMC will work with health care providers, prescription drug plans and pharmacies to decrease the rates of drug on drug interactions (DDI) and the potentially inappropriate medications (PIM) prescribed.

IFMC offers quality improvement assistance related to Prescription Drug Therapy to:
• All Medicare providers and practitioners
• Medicare Advantage organizations offering Medicare Advantage plans under Part C
• Prescription drug sponsors offering prescription drug plans (PDPs) under Part D
