Create Package

A package is a file that contains the database (with abstracted data), log file and other files created by MCMP-PAT.  This package must be sent to your QIO so it can be sent to IFMC then to RTI for analysis.  To access the Packager click on Tools arrow right Create Package to bring up the Packager form.  Starting in version 2.0 of MCMP-PAT, users are required to review the list of selected measures and the total records available for analysis in each topic before they can create the package.

The left side of the Packager form lists all the steps and indicates the current one.  This is a read-only area, use the Next and Previous buttons to move between steps.

Notes
  • A package file is named with the same name as the main database file with the extension ".package" added.
  • Users are not allowed to change the name of the package file.
  • The package file is created in the same folder where the main database is located.
  • Before creating the package, be sure to review the options and Totals report shown in the first few steps.
  • No other users should be using the database while a package is being created.
