Problem #LI–1
An error message appears when a user clicks on the OK button in the log on form and is unable to logon. The error message is “Operation must use an updateable query.”
Solution
The system administrator or IT person in charge of setting user permissions must give users read and write permissions to the folder where the MCMP–PAT database is stored.  It is also important that the database (*.mcmp) and other MCMP–PAT files located in the same folder must not be set to read–only.
Status
This issue depends on how the system administrator or IT person sets up the user’s permission.

Problem #LI–2
An error message appears when a user clicks on the OK button in the log on form and is unable to logon. The error message is "The .Net Data OLE DB Provider(System.Data.OleDb) requires Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.6 or later. Version 2.XX.XXXX.X was found currently installed."
Solution
Status
This issue depends on the configuration of the PC where MCMP–PAT is to be installed.

Problem #MF–1
An error message appears when creating a package, importing data or updating the tool.  The error message is "The located assembly's manifest definition with the name 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib' does not match the assembly reference."
Solution
This method overwrites two files in the folder where MCMP–PAT is installed and requires that the user has write access to installation folder.

Notes:
  • If you are viewing this in the user's guide, you might not be able to see the appropriate menu items in the pop–up menus. If this is the case, try clicking the left mouse instead of the right mouse for steps three and seven.
  • If you are not getting the right behavior with the links, try viewing this in the online version at www.internetifmc.com/forums/mcmpguide/index.htm.
Steps:
  1. Close MCMP–PAT and Updater if they are open.
  2. Download SharpZipLib by clicking the right mouse button over this link: http://www.internetifmc.com/forums/downloads/ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll.
  3. In the pop–up menu that appears, select the option "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..."
  4. In the dialog box that comes up, go to the folder where MCMP–PAT is installed.  The default location is "C:\Program Files\MCMPPAT".
  5. Once you have located the installation folder, click the Save button.
  6. A confirmation dialog box will appear, asking you whether you would like to overwrite the existing file.  Select “Yes” to overwrite the old file.
  7. Download the latest version of the Updater by clicking the right mouse button over this link: http://www.internetifmc.com/forums/downloads/Updater.exe.
  8. Follow steps #3 to #6.

Status
This a known issue with MCMP–PAT and the above steps should fix it.

Problem #UP–1
An error message appears when a user tries to upgrade MCMP–PAT after clicking ‘Yes’ in the dialog box (figure 1) that offers to check for the latest version of MCMP–PAT. The Updater window will also show that the source location is ‘RUNPAT’ (figure 2).

This only affects users with MCMP–PAT versions 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 with Updater versions 2.x and 1.x.
