Canceling Changes

To cancel changes made to patient information click the Cancel button on the toolbar or select Patient

Cancel from the menu. Before the changes are discarded, a dialog box will appear asking the user to confirm the action. The changes will be discarded only when the user clicks on "Yes". Closing the form while in edit mode without first saving the changes will have the same effect as canceling the changes.

Canceling the changes will revert back any changes made to all elements on the demographic and disease topics. The exception is any changes made to visits. The changes made to visits under HF-3 or PC-1 will not be discarded. The form mode will change to "Browsing", allowing the user to select a different patient, run reports and perform other activities that are not allowed in edit mode.
