Registering for the MCMP Forum

The MCMP online forum is a website that allows registered MCMP participants to view questions and answers related to the Medicare Care Management Performance demonstration.  The Forum also contains the MCMP-PAT tool, sample database, downloadable documents, announcements and links to other resources. If you have problems logging in or have other issues related to your forum account, send an e-mail to mcmpdemo@cms.hhs.gov. Registration Process Steps in Registering 1. Open a browser and go to: http://www.internetifmc.com/forums 2. Click the Register link. 3. On the next page, click on the I Agree to these terms and conditions check box and click the Register button. 4. On the next page, provide your username, password, e-mail address and image verification information. Note Your username may contain spaces, but it is discouraged because it can easily cause confusion during log on.  A good practice is to use the first letter of your first name followed by your full last name without spaces. If you can't read the text in the Image Verification panel click the 'Get a new challenge' button to display a different pair of text without reloading the whole page. 5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, optionally set the time zone and click the Complete Registration button. 6. After clicking the Complete Registration button, you will be brought to the next page and an e-mail will be sent to you with your username and activation link in it.  Keep that e-mail for future reference. 7. Check your e-mail that came from "CMS Demonstration Forum" <ifmcforum@ifmc.org>.  It will contain instructions on how to activate your account by clicking on a link.  Clicking on that link will open your browser to a forum page with a message that confirms the activation of your account. The forum administrator still needs to approve your join request after you activated your account. Once the admin approve your request to join the forum, you will receive an e-mail and you should be able to view the posted messages and download files. To access the forum, go to http://www.internetifmc.com/forums and enter the username and password you provided in the registration page and click the Log in button. 10. On a successful log in you will briefly see a message that you are being redirected to another page.  Wait for the page to disappear.  If you are not automatically redirected, click on the link below the thank you message. 11. On the next page, click the MCMP Demonstration forum to view the postings.
