Key Viewer
 
The key viewer is a utility that displays the encrypted information of a key file.  The key file is named PATKey.msec and is shipped to the practices by their respective QIO before the first (baseline) database is sent.

The key viewer can be launched from two locations: from the main form of MCMP-PAT or from  the list of programs.

1. To start the key viewer from the list of program click on Start Programs MCMP Demo Key Viewer.

2. Select the key file and click Next.  The key file is named PATKey.msec and must be located in the same folder where the main database (e.g. MXX001_BY.mcmp) is located.

3. Determine if the information displayed is correct.  The practice ID may not be familiar to you but be sure to include this information with your e-mail confirmation to your QIO.

4. Depending on the selected answer in the above step, either of the following notice will be displayed in the next step.

Step three of Key Viewer. Practice name is incorrect.

5. Click Close to continue and send an e-mail to your QIO regarding if the key is correct or not.
